love as defined by a fourteen year-old

mark I (august)
part I of I

the atmosphere thick
the air hot and humid
rustling of dancing silhouettes
of trees as young as we
the only other sounds
are my light breathing
and the slow deep heaving
of the one that i encircle

in light embrace

soothing aches as like
one kneading muscles
washing away today's pain
drowning needless worries
driving away petty troubles
by tomorrow just senseless sorrows

pawn
part II of II

legs rest on knees and head on chest
a chin rests on a temple
another on the nook of an arm
back pressed against a lap
lips pursed in murmurs
of love yet undeclared
lips kissing softly
where lips touch my skin

me and myself in french
part III of III

still now is the back of the hand
that caressed the face and neck
still now are the fingers that
combed through hairs
lest this one i awaken

my rajah, a rojo
part IV of IV

a soft breeze starts a ripple of blades
as too the soft tufts on still rounded limbs
tranquil for now is the one i guard
serene for now as i stand on watch

mark II (the other victor)
part V of V

as dawn nears rise we as shadows
starlight guides our short strides
shoulder touches shoulder
as we slowly slip through the night

slip in we must before the sun awakens
sleep we must before the sun awakens
hurry we must before the sun awakens

and creep back into our own rooms
in houses left unlocked

the missing parts

are kept
as i am fourteen
time and time again

and i am fourteen
yet again
