rising of the youngling : a Yi Jing reading

ari
offered to
give me a reading
by this chinese art of divination
some nights ago. of course, i couldn't really
come up with the open ended questions that were
necessary for the answers to come from the casting of dice
or toss of three coins. somehow, my mind is constructed in a way
that can only work out open ended questions in practical everyday
living but not in a theoretical frame when it comes to actually living
out that life.concrete, empirical concepts and completely abstract
constructs can be grasped and dealt with with ease or after
much concentration and forced disgestion but when told
to ask open ended questions for the reading, i was at
an utter loss.

maybe, i am not
wired properly to be in line or
aligned enough for the reception of the more subtle and implicit views gathered
from the great cosmos. i just know that the cosmic forces have been upset by me from time to time as
result of my installment payments of dues in the karmic balancing cycle - while still paying for the overdue accounts
...of my past five lives. here are the answers i got. fortunately enough, they were in line with the questions i struggled to come up with ... and answers to some i've been guided to ask.

!
The wind travels over the earth
The early fathers, accordingly, examined the domains
And comprehended their societies
To establish their teachings

@
you must get some perspective and be observant.

Perspective
A cleansing but not sacrificing
Being true is as good as dignity

$
Observing our own lives
The noble young one does no harm

%
Observing others’ lives
The noble young one has no fault

Inspiration needs big images.
They don’t have to represent big things
even out of something small one can make a big idea.

* i think i have to get a reading for this reading.
and ouch the father has to rise earlier i guess - literally
